Ted Cruz Super PACs failed to reserve TV advertising time. That means they will have to pay more for it when they do advertise.

"And while Ted Cruz remains in good position this week, Republican pollster Kristen Soltis Anderson warns: “Reports about Cruz’s Super PACs failing to reserve television advertising time spells potential trouble, as advertising rates will likely grow more and more exorbitant as the primaries approach, and will mean other candidates’ (who already have time reserved) resources will go further.”

Pataki and Gilmore failed to get on the Alabama and Arkansas ballot by missing the deadline. The real issue is everyone else made the deadlines meaning no one else is planning to pull out.


In Virginia:

"Virginia, whose deadline is Dec. 10, has some of the toughest rules, requiring candidates to submit 5,000 valid signatures overall, including 200 from each of the state’s 11 congressional districts. The National Journal reported that former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush; Sens. Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, Lindsey Graham; and Ted Cruz, businesswoman Carly Fiorina, Mr. Carson and Ohio Gov. John Kasich all dispatched volunteers to polling places in Virginia during last week’s election to collect signatures. Businessman Donald Trump, meanwhile, has already submitted 15,000 signatures in Virginia, or three times the total needed."

Filing in NH so far on the GOP side: Trump was the first to file last week, with Rubio, Fiorina, Kasich and Christie also filing.
