Referring to the article quoted above: Well, since Trump insulted his Jewish audience by stating that they would not support him because he would "not take their money" (as opposed to the other donations he receives?), I don't wonder that he was boo'ed.

He was booed and jeered for refusing to recognize Jerusalem as the undisputed capital of Israel.

Then he stupidly tried to call out the people who were booing as if he was going to embarrass them or get them tossed.

I guess Trump doesn't care about the Jewish vote.

So a Trumpette uses term 'ZOG' (that's white supremacist parlance for 'Zionist Occupation Government', a wild-eyed conspiracy theory in which Jews are evil puppet-masters that manipulate everything)...

...and yet is mystified that Jews aren't flocking to Trump.

ZOG? Never heard that term before.

Oh, I am aware there are white supremacist Neo-Nazis lurking in these forums ... sooner or later they expose themselves.

BucFan, I wasn't denying that his refusal to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel was the primary reason for the boos and jeers, but insulting the audience as well certainly didn't help the situation at all.

I always wonder why Jews are overwhelmingly democratic rather than republican. As a conservative, I can never figure that one out. I always thought Republican presidents are more pro Israel than Democratic presidents and I always thought, maybe wrongly, that Jews in American had no better friends than conservatives myself included.

There are Jews and there are Jews. I'm Jewish and very few Jews in my circle are lefties. Lots of Reform Jews are though and their short memory of who their real enemies are always confounds me.

His daughter is Jewish. Does she hate him, too?
