Both lack substance and their presence shames what was once a very dignified, respectable political process. Their hollow platforms and empty rhetoric only appeal to the most shallow and desperate among GOP supporters. Not surprising to read this news of the decline in their support.

And, the sample size ranged from 464 to 347.

There is still that one little thing that makes Trump stand out that is really, really important to a lot of legal citizens: Starnes: Americans Agree With Trump: The Illegal Immigrants Must Go - Fox Nation

Carson is still doing OK also. RealClearPolitics - 2016 Latest Polls What I am seeing too is that Bernie is doing a little better especially in some states which is not good news for Hillary. She may be the nominee but dissatisfied people will then be looking for another candidate or stay home in protest.

Sorry to disappoint. Try again tomorrow.

Since when being ahead of the second place finisher by 16 points is cause for panic? Not to mention that the second place finisher himself dropped 10 points. Jeb is at 7 and everybody expect him to be the nominee.

It will come to Rubio and Cruz and the GOP leadership wants Rubio so he probably has the edge.

Politics was never dignified nor respectable. And when one of the 16 candidates starts promising that the oceans will cease to rise and the planet will begin to heal, get back to us about empty rhetoric.

Rubio, perhaps, but I don't see Cruz there in the end. He's too polarizing as a tea party favorite.

Yea, you're right Lexus, finally Trump going down. Karl Rove said it, so did Nate Silver. Media is saying this is the end for Trump. His poll numbers won't translate to votes. Most of his supporters aren't even registered and think a primary is a piece of steak.

Rubio is clearly going to win. No competition.

In reality, this poll is symbolic. I don't think people in this country are SOLELY focused on illegal immigrants being subjected to mass deportation, at the expense of Republican policies which promise such but in reality only give us Dubya II. The deception that Trump brings with his rhetoric is what is sinking him.

More importantly, Republican policies don't work, and Trump has not presented ANY evidence to prove differently. Hence the predictable decline in his support. Pubs often rely on polls with fewer sample sizes to support their usually wrong positions. This one supports the truth, which will become more evident over time.

Reality. Recognize it.
