I don't believe Trump actually wants to do the job that comes with being President. I think he started running because people liked him and he's a Narcissistic Sociopath who loves the attention and publicity. If he did win the presidency I honestly don't believe he'd last 4 years.
If the party wants to improve minority outreach, why hasn't Reince spoke out against Trump. Is it against election policy?
