The participants qualifying for the prime-time, 9 p.m. ET debate are:

Billionaire businessman Donald Trump; Texas Sen. Ted Cruz; Florida Sen. Marco Rubio; retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson; New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie; former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush; and Ohio Gov. John Kasich.

It's an important debate for all of them. Voting begins soon in the early states, about 20% or so say they can be "influenced" by this debate.

It's getting down to "do or die" for Christie, Bush, Kasich and Carson.
Ground game in these states is important - they all talk a good story, the results of the vote will show if their "story" is Truth or Fairy Tale.

If Trump is going after Cruz, that is because Trump feels threatened by him. It appears that someone in Trump's campaign may have finally explained to "The Donald" how the delegate selection process actually works.

More Foreign policy questions GOP does not want to fix the country itself. GOP spend another 10million on food stamps and welfare we are broke and can not afford it now 1 to 3 trillion on more wars he have the money for that

Now this is the debate that the Republicans have wanted: moderator teeing up softballs about Obama for them to try to knock out of the park. Some "debate". Going to switch to American Idol. There is more substance there.
