How is it Trump has such strong support from the tea party ?
  1. He is for eminent domain
  2. He is for raising taxes
  3. He supports healthcare for all

The start of the tea party was based on less government intervention.

I know. The Tea Party was supposed to be about tax reform, individual rights, and moving towards a more quasi-libertarian government but somewhere along the line the it was hijacked by the angry fringe element of the Republican Party.

^ this, the Tea Party of 2008/2009 that advocated for limited government and responsible spending was hijacked around late 2009/early 2010 by bigots, neo-Nazis, and bible thumpers. I should know for I belonged to the Tea Party of 2009 before I was chased away by people who just wanted to deport illegal immigrants and push a hard line social conservative viewpoint.

Wasn't the tea party in support of the birther movement when Obama was running?

Tea Party people were conservatives that were fed up with the Republican Party politicians. As an outsider, they are flocking to Trump.

There was a lot of support for Obama birtherism coming from the Tea Party, most notably the Surprise (AZ) Tea Party's petition to Sheriff Joe Arpaio that was the catalyst for the comically incompetent "Cold Case Posse Investigation" into obama's birth certificate.
