Trump is skipping tonights GOP debate and instead will attend a fund raiser for wounded vets.
Is this a good move or a bad move for Trump?
Leading up to the debate everyone is talking about him not being there. No doubt that during the debate they will be talking Trump and no doubt afterwards there will be discussions about Trump.
So what is he really losing by not being there?
Personally I don't think he should skip the debate and it makes him look like he can't handle the fight because he would be the punching bag and the center of attention.
Trump is a smart man with bold ideas so could the skipping of the debate be part of his master plan?
It will help him. Cruz and Fiorina are already showing their weakness and submission to him when they offer $1.5 and $2 million just to debate him. Let's see if any of the kiddie table (I'm looking at you Huchabee) or other candidates defect to Trump's event tonight. This could be Trump's crowning moment.

Trump is just a petulant ***. He throws a fit because Fox gave him some of his own medicine. He is just ticked off that he couldn't bully Fox so he picked up his ball and went to find some new people that he can bully. Now he is trying to play damage control and going on other news networks saying that he will not be this way if he is president. USA 2016 = Weimar Republic of Germany = 1932.
For years Fox News has made it clear that the party doesn't run them, they run the party. Trump is kind of the first one to specifically buck that. Trump's intelligence is actually kind of surprising for me. He knows that if he actually is elected president, he needs to make it clear that Fox News does not run him.

If you listen to what he is promising, then you will know that Trump isn't going to let the constitution stop him either.
