GOP presidential contender Marco Rubio apparently struck gold as he’s garnered the endorsement of Todd Hoffman, star of Discovery’s “Gold Rush” reality show.
In a public Facebook post, Hoffman said he spoke to the Florida senator as well as Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), but it was Rubio who impressed the reality star the most. Hoffman is known for his role on the Discovery show that follows the lives of several gold miners.
“I came from humble means as did Marco,” Hoffman said. “I believe Marcos faith is deep and he speaks from the heart. I feel like the blue collar guy will get a fair shot with him.”
.........
Hoffman said he “admires” what former neurosurgeon Ben Carson and what he “has brought to the race.” He also said that he has “nothing against” Donald Trump. Yet while he supports his business savvy, he said Trump could pick a Supreme Court replacement that does not align with his beliefs.
Hoffman said he identifies the most with Rubio as he’s “not a silver spoon kid.”
I wonder if he knows that Rubio stands for amnesty for illegals and also stands for increased H1-B visas. Does he also know that Rubio decided that he hates being a senator and has been ditching his job? What would happen if Rubio became president and decided he hated the job? Gee...I wish that I could have a job where if I hate it, I don't have to go to work but can still collect a paycheck.

Still better than a vulgar casino mogul who got bankrupt four times and survived thanks to Daddy's money!
Buzz is growing on the ground in Iowa around Marco Rubio, who many political watchers believe is set for a stronger-than-expected showing at Monday’s caucuses.
In interviews with The Hill, Iowa Republicans and independent analysts in the state say Rubio is primed to break free from the second tier of contenders and finally emerge as the candidate to save the establishment from Donald Trump and Ted Cruz, who are battling for the lead in Iowa.
“He easily has the greatest upside,” said Doug Gross, who served as Iowa finance chairman for the campaigns of George W. Bush and Mitt Romney.
“Mainstream Republicans are not comfortable with Trump or Cruz, and the more I hear from them, the more they say they’ve decided on Rubio. He has the greatest potential and it’s driven by pragmatism, a desire to win, and angst with the two front-runners.”
Endorsements are pretty much meaningless, but it's better than Jerry Falwell, Jr.
It's not about the TV star, nobody cares, but about what he said about Marco coming from the same world and not being born with a silver spoon.
