Recipients include Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (Nev.), former Pennsylvania governor Edward G. Rendell, and Rahm Emanuel, a former aide to President Obama who received $50,000 from Trump during his recent run to become Chicago’s mayor, records show. Many of the contributions have been concentrated in New York, Florida and other states where Trump has substantial real estate and casino interests.

For all the flack that candidates like Bush and Christie get for being "RINO's" (Republicans in Name Only), Trump seems like the mack daddy of the Republican safari.

It sounds like Trump is willing to help out his old friends if elected President.

That's fine. It only makes sense that a good business man knows that you have to be willing to work with others to succeed. Someone should pass that on to some of the other candidates. If he were being critical and saying he would never work with these people, never give them a donation, that would be wrong too, right?

He's fine. Full steam ahead Trump.

OP---You aren't posting anything that's new here. Trump has never denied that he gave money to democrats.

I don't know why you felt the need to start this thread. It serves no purpose.

What would you say if Jeb Bush did the same thing? You would call him a RINO, right?

First of all, I seriously doubt that Jeb! would ever give money to democrats! He's a politician and a republican. Trump was never a politician. Like lots of wealthy people, he donated money to politicians on both sides of the aisle and he worked the system. Thus, to those who didn't know what was going on---politicians beholden to their mega-rich donors, Trump exposed this system. Again, he has admitted to giving money in the past. It's old news. Try to get past it, will you? Can you?

But doesn't that personify the very definition of the acronym "RINO"?

Businessmen aren't accountable to American citizens, politicians are.

Shrug.

Again, Trump is honest about his past donations and he has exposed how the system works. When mega-rich people donate to campaigns, they're often not interested in party affiliation. Instead, they are interested in having candidates beholden to them. Got it now?

Did you know that Ronald Reagan was a democrat for many years then later changed to republican? Not that I was a fan of his, but this is a fact. From using your logic, he, too, was a RINO.

You support Rubio who claimed to be against illegal immigration when he ran for the senate. Once in the senate, he supported amnesty.

Now answer the question---can you let it go? Will you let it go? And a new question, why do you allow Trump to live in your head? It's not like you're going to ever vote for him.

Willing to work with others?

Or willing to buy others?

We have after all heard Donny boast about politicians kissing his butt because he gives them $$$, doesn't exactly sound like working with others.
