A newspaper is a mass media outlet, with a million opinions expressed. Lots of different people work for and write at a newspaper. These people probably couldn't agree on anything, let alone a presidential candidate.
But in practical terms: such endorsements are pointless and do not change anything in any campaign.

But not a million opinions expressed through its pages.
Its gullible subscribers knowingly support a progressive leftist organ that attempts to influence an outcome. And it's a Soviet one, one which actively works against the dissident candidate.
Sanders supporters who subscribe to it are working against their interests. If they want to buy it so they can celebrate the latest trangendered professional ballerina or learn how they can run and hide from a home invasion, then they can go for it.
