He's lying.

Trump should not release anything until he is the nominee. Right now it is none of our business.

Of course it is our business. Would you hire someone without a background check? You are giving so much power to your next president and you cannot ask him for something as simple as their tax returns?

Trump needs to release his returns now so he doesn't hurt the party. Any candidate cannot tell us that they will get rid of corruption when they cannot even do something as easy as releasing their tax refunds.

Trump is never gonna release his tax returns. Ever. He is lying about the audit. People don't get audited for 12 years at the same time. It's usually 3 years or 6 years if the IRS suspects you omitted more than 25% of your income. The exception is if the IRS suspects you are committing fraud. If the IRS thinks there is fraud then Trump has some major issues. The IRS bears a high burden of proof in fraud cases and they won't accuse any taxpaper of fraud unless they have inmese evidence.

Those are just lame excuses. Trump is hiding something. Who knows what

Since you are a Hillary Clinton supporter why would you care?

More to the point why aren't you making issue of her refusing to release transcripts of her speeches to Wall Street if transparency is such an important thing for you.

Rubio will release them Saturday, Cruz tomorrow.
I can guarantee that both of their returns are a lie and missing important information.

I'm willing to be that none of the other presidential candidates have a tax return as complicated as this.....

Lightbulb Romney: There's a 'bombshell' in Trump's tax returns

The guy who wouldn't release his own tax returns now wants Trump to release his.

GOP hypocrisy at its best!

That loser just keeps on losing..........and that was the best the GOP could do in 2012.

this is the first time I've heard Trummy talk about his audits.......you'd think he's bring it up as a gripe earlier - especially if he's being harassed by the IRS....I think he's using an examination of his company's finances which I'm assuming most companies go through - as a cop-out/excuse. What does he have to hide?

The democrats will likely force him to release. So, waiting until he is the likely nominee is something we agree with.

-----------------------

Why would voters care whether he is worth $10 billion as he says or only $6 billion? He likely has no idea of the exact number.

So if Cruz and Rubio release theirs before Tuesday what will "we" (Romney) say if Trump announces that he will release his last couple years returns on March 2 or March 16?

Mitt Romney ‏@MittRomney
No legit reason @realDonaldTrump can't release returns while being audited, but if scared, release earlier returns no longer under audit.

Mitt Romney ‏@MittRomney
Methinks the Donald doth protest too much. Show voters your back taxes, @realDonaldTrump. #WhatIsHeHiding
