Why should we reward illegals with amnesty? It's a slap in the face to those who immigrated here in accordance with our laws and patiently awaited their turn to come here.

You do realize that many illegals are functionally illiterate so they illegally work unskilled jobs. Should they be amnestied, when tax time comes around, they will get whatever they paid in taxes refunded right back to them. In other words, they will still be a drain on the country. We have our own poor that need help, thus we don't need to be importing any more people.

That's what people like about him... Better description is like a "Bulldozer" rolling into office with his team of accountants. Eliminating what works and renegotiating what doesn't.

Actually I work with and know many very literate and intelligent illegals. And considering most construction jobs require skill I would beg to differ. I know illegal plumbers, electrician, a/c, carpenters, etc. I know one that co-owns a large and successful fire protection business, he didn't come from South of the border though so that wall never would have stopped him. In fact you probably wouldn't be able to pick him out of a crowd because he's white and speaks english.

Have you ever hired a contractor to do work for you?

I don't think things would go that smoothly. ... But I also don't think it's gonna come to that. If trump is the nominee, hispanics are gonna vote for hillary in droves... which is one of the reasons why the repubs -- who created trumpenstein -- are now in a panic to bring him down.

I have hired them and always ask about their employees. Unless they hire American citizens or legal immigrants, they won't get my business.

It's absolutely despicable that illegals have displaced Americans in the work force and you talk about it like it's not a big deal. I guess it's okay with you to see honest Americans losing their livelihoods because they couldn't compete with sleazy contractors who hire illegals and pay under the table. Well, it's not okay with me.

We're looking at having to need some major work done to our house. You can be sure that we will question every company we're considering hiring. If they say they don't hire illegals, I'll have them put it in the contract that all the employees who will be working on our house will be either Americans or legal immigrants.

In the meantime, I've talked to honest American contractors to get recommendations when it comes to having work done (if the American contractor doesn't do what I need to have done, they do know of others who are honest).

I hope that all the illegals you know and praise eventually lose their livelihoods and return to their own countries. They have no business being here, let alone taking jobs from Americans and legal immigrants. Period.

And you think that all illegals are Hispanics and that all Hispanics want amnesty and open borders. Well, you don't speak for me.

Trump actually said we have to take care of the poor.. I don't think they means getting rid of food stamps. He wants to get rid of all those illegals getting food stamps, housing etc.. etc..

No and no. But you'll see -- the dems will get the hispanic vote overwhelmingly if trump is the nominee.

No doubt, the majority would vote for the dem. However, the Hispanic vote is 10% of the voting bloc which doesn't amount to a hill of beans.
