Let's face it, politicians value immigrants (legal and illegal) more than lifelong Americans.

If that's how it's going to be, can we have a president who can make deals with other countries that will make it easier for Americans to emigrate?

That way us pesky American citizens won't have to stand in the way of simply flooding the country with third world foreigners and refugees.

That's a fair question and I understand your concern.

Sanders opposed comprehensive immigration reform in 2007 on the grounds that it would expand the number of guest workers in the United States. It included a measure that would allow 200,000 guest workers to stay in the country for two years on temporary visas. The bill was widely supported by immigrant rights groups and would have put the undocumented on a path to citizenship.

Bernie said this:

“If poverty is increasing and if wages are going down, I don’t know why we need millions of people to be coming into this country as guest workers who will work for lower wages than American workers and drive waged down even lower than they are now,” Sanders said in a television interview in June 2007."

“It does not make a lot of sense to me to bring hundreds of thousands of those workers into this country to work for minimum wage and compete with Americans kids,” Sanders said in 2013.

Bernie Sanders Immigration: Why Conservatives Praise Him

I've heard him say he wants to secure the border and that sending over unskilled workers into our country is not something he agree with. As for his policy on granting citizenship for the 11 million here illegally, that's extremely controversial and I don't support it. I've always thought his border policy should be stronger and tougher.

But your picking one policy out of several that he stands for. Overall, yes I do believe Bernie has the best interest of American citizens and would be a better leader any day over Trump.

And in all fairness, look at both of their track records. Donald has flop flopped so many times and Bernie hasn't. it's just that simple. He's trustworthy and we need that.

Many people did not know or remember why he choose to sign the bill. Add to that, he didn't push for it, he simply signed the already approved bill. Was it a good idea? As it turned out, it was an awful idea.

You are so very wrong, Wintergirl80:

Bernie Sanders Wants To Grant Amnesty To Millions Of Illegal Aliens Via Executive Order [Report]

Doing this^shows that Bernie does not have the best interests of Americans at heart.

You mean the way Trump outsources his entire line to CHINA and MEXICO, thus stealing thousand of jobs from Americans? When will the Trumpettes wake up and see what a lying, hypocritical fraud he is?

Forbes Welcome

Dexter do you know the difference a car and a hotel?

Ones a product and the other is a service.....

The 35% tax he is implying is for products imported into America, especial for companies moving to other countries.

Explain how to tax a service in another country?

TRUMP 2016

Says the person who has not read Trump's platform.

1. Trump's plan reduces taxes for EVERYONE. However, he will actually make the very rich pay thier taxes.

2. Trump wants to dump NAFTA and China trade policies to help US manufacturing.

3. Trump wants to reinstate Glass-Steagle, which Bill Clinton dropped, to regulate Wall Street bankers.

4. Hillary and Bill's "presidency" created the laws that resulted in a massive exodus of manufacturing jobs from the US.

5. Bill Clinton's repeal of Glass-Steagle gave Wall Street free reign and helped cause the 2008 financial crisis.

6. Hillary is okay with NAFTA, China trade status, and Pac Rim- screwing the middle class.

7. Hillary has no plans to reduce corporate taxes or ANY individual income taxes.

Go ahead- vote for a career criminal who has a clear record of destroying the middle class.

Right On!!!!

It was Clinton that started the repeal of the Glass Steagle, and Bush signed into law eliminating it. In the debate a few weeks ago, I was wondering why he didn't bring the up. Maybe he is waiting (saving) this for a future debate against Hillary....

Repealing the Glass Steagle was the leading domino that started our past recession... Leading to all the foreclosures and declining home values......

Noting Hillary has been excepting funding from big banks and Wall Street.

Bring this up will hit Hillary Hard!!!

Did you even read what I wrote? or the article?

Clearly there is a difference between those that are here and securing the border for future arrivals.
