Following the constant infighting within the Republican party, which now looks in disarray, it appears there are two factions of Republicans; Trump supporters and mainstream GOP supporters, and they increasingly hate each other. On twitter there has been constant usage of #nevertrump on twitter in the past 24 hours by non Trump conservatives followed by a retaliation of #alwaystrump from his supporters. We are left with therefore two scenarios:
Trump wins nomination vs Conservatives run 3rd party vs Hillary
Cruz/Rubio/Kasich wins nomination vs Trump runs 3rd party vs Hillary
I can't see anything else other than a Hillary landslide IMO, since theres so much bad blood between them, which is weird because if the GOP were united I think she would likely lose.
So it looks like we'll get a 5-4 liberal supreme court majority, 4 more years of Obamacare, Iran deal to stay, Immigration reform etc.
This conservative infighting may lead to a few more upcoming democratic presidencies yet. Its great time to be a liberal as America increasingly moves further towards Europe therefore.
And this is why all the GOP infighting will stop as soon as the nominee is decided upon. They will instead focus on Hillary and what you just posted.
Honestly I that's increasingly unlikely.
You're underestimating the hostility towards him from non trump supporters, Bill Kristol, Rich Lowry, Steve Hayes, Jonah Goldberg, many conservative journalists hate his guts.
His constant third party threats (yet again today) and attempts to bully the Republican party establishment wont go down well.
Is Hillary almost certain to be the next president?
That's how I see it, and I'm thrilled!
