Nice conspiracy theory....The vast vast majority of us do carry ID when we go out.
There are times when people don't have their IDs. Such as when women are working in an office, their purses are usually left in a desk somewhere. It could be in a building on another part of a large campus. Or when jogging or playing sports or at the beach, often ID is not with the person. Or if you are working construction, you might not have your wallet or purse with you on the job site, for risk of injury or losing it.
When you are walking your dog, do you take an ID? What if they want to deport you then? Or do you ask them to allow you to go home to get your ID? What if you just lost your ID or just had your wallet or purse stolen. This happened to a family member of mine just recently and the drivers license replacement had to be sent in the mail after going to the drivers license facility. So there was a week delay in getting the actual replacement. What if they try to deport you during this short period of time that your ID isn't available.
What if you are visiting another state and your social security card and birth certificate are at your home 1000 miles away. And they raid a restaurant and take you in to check if you are illegal. All you have is your drivers license but they say you are illegal based on their database, and you say otherwise.
This would happen in a small percentage of the cases for some people that are legal. Usually it will work out and they won't get deported, although there could be a short term of high stress trying to prove that you really are legal. You might have to get an attorney, pronto, to help prove you are legal. There will likely be a whole new sub-spectialty of attorneys to help people in these situations. After all, sometimes the government thinks someone is dead when they are really alive and it takes a lot of red tape to clear it up. So there will be some screw ups with deportations too. Could be you or anyone that is accidentally detained too long with red tape issues.
After all, they aren't only going to go to the local Mexican check cashing facility to deport. They could go anywhere - your house, your work, the mall, a street corner, a restaurant or the beach or a park or a baseball game or a parade.

Put your tin foil hat away....if you are here illegally, you need to go. If you are trying to get into this country undocumented, you need to stay away....simple enough?

But more importantly, Romney ran a campaign that was utterly demagogic and dishonest. It may not have been quite as appalling as what Trump is doing now, but in many ways it was similar, the only difference being that Trump says out loud what Republicans such as Romney prefer to imply.
What in the world is Mitt Romney trying to do?? Hand the election over to Hillary?
Is he stupid??? His ego is getting in the way of common sense. If he succeeds, Who will win the presidency?
What a GOP hack.. wow.. the establishment's true colors are showing.
