Work to make him Senate minority leader, he would be far more effective in that position than he ever would be as President. For too long there has been far too much emphasis placed upon the role of the President of the United States, real powers lies within the Congress, where it has always been.

I won't give up the Bernie drinking game;

Whenever he says free government program, you get to drink someone else's beer.

With Reid retiring, that is definitely a possibility if that is something he would want if he loses the primary. I wouldn't mind seeing Sanders and Warren being the driving force in the Senate with Hillary as president, especially seeing there is a good chance the Democrats will either take back the Senate or close the gap to about 50/50.

Since he was elected to the Senate as an Independent, is that possible? Or likely?

The position is based upon and internal election by the respective parties and there is no rule that dictates who a party can elect to lead their faction although it does raise an interesting question. If there is a third party do they get a minority, minority leader?

Anyway, Bernie is a Democrat now.

We will find out in June if he'll be the presidential candidate or not. In the meantime, I'll be phonebanking and volunteering.

Well, you would still have those pesky republican candidates to deal with.

Maybe everybody should just drop all opposition to Hillary and allow her to assume all power over all things for all time. I mean, it's the reasonable, patriotic thing to do. After all, she's entitled. She's a woman with credentials in 2016 and all. Love and kindness, bombs for Iraq, the whole package. Guys like Bernie are just throwing monkey wrenches in the works. Does anybody have a form? "I hereby renounce my right and anybody else's right to oppose Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the Democratic National Committee, or Hillary Clinton, in anything, ever." I'll sign.

I have a better suggestion. Get a proper education so you dont have to work overtime as a shill for the rich anymore.
