Considering that she really never got that much support, I don't think it will gain Cruz any support unless, of course, you have women who care more about the gender than what someone brings to the table. I am not a woman like that. I think this equates to one loser endorsing another.
Carly Fiorina is the best surrogate "attack dog" for attacking and harassing Hillary Clinton that exists in the world today. This is a huge pickup for Ted Cruz, especially if he manages to win the nomination.
Sarah Palin will apparently be Donald Trump's surrogate Hillary Clinton "attack dog" if he is nominated. Of course ideally whoever the nominee is will want to have several, but one really strong one, if possible.
I would take Fiorina over Palin for this role every day and twice on Sunday.

this is the woman that got trounced in her home state of California by Barbara Boxer by over 1 million votes in a Republican year in the mid-terms elections of 2010.....she was beaten badly in her home state.
this is the Woman as CEO of H.P. ruined that company that thousands of employees lost their jobs at H.P. and she was forced to resigned and got paid 21 million to go away and made over 100 million dollars at H.P. and ruined that company..
Yeah I'm sure Hillary Clinton is shaking scared of Carly Fiorina endorsing Rafael Cruz.

i'm sure you like losers ....what has Fiorina ever won?........she was trounced in her home state by over 1 million votes in 2010 in a Republican year by Barbara Boxer.
When the people that know her best REJECTED her by over 1 million votes in her state, Fiorina shouldn't be endorsing anybody, that is the kiss of death.

She was a political rookie who lost a Senate race in California, perhaps the most dependably blue state that there is, to a popular incumbent, Barbara Boxer. That was hardly an upset. What would have been a political tsunami of an upset is if Fiorina had pulled it off.
But you know all this.
As far as Hewlett Packard, she rose from being a secretary to being the CEO of the largest technology company in the world during the dot.com boom, when consumer technology well and truly came into its own in a truly major way. The company suffered serious losses during the dot.com bust in 2000-2002, when the NASDAQ lost 78% of its value as it fell from 5046.86 to 1114.11.
But it wasn't just Hewlett Packard that experienced major setbacks, as the entire technology sector was decimated. Actually more than decimated, as decimated implies a loss of one out of ten. It was far worse than that. And of course 9/11 happened smack in the middle of the whole thing, which made it far worse.
But unless you are very young, or you just awoke from a coma, you surely know all this too.
