Could Trump Still Lose if He Wins GOP Delegates? | LawNewz

So here’s how Trump could still lose according to a variety of election law experts with whom we spoke. The delegates could vote to change the convention rules even BEFORE the first round of balloting takes place. That’s right, in the days leading up to the convention, the RNC Rules Committee could recommend rules changes to the Convention Rules Committee. That committee could tweak the recommendations but they they would ultimately have to send the new rules to the floor of the convention for a vote by the delegates. If the delegates vote to change the rules so as to ‘unbind’ themselves, then they could vote for whoever they wanted even in that first round.

Awwww look at the desperation as the Republicans are recognizing what their party is becoming.

To be fair, its looking like we may end up with Clinton, so theres some shared pain.

And you signed on with City Data today, Thursday, March 17, 2016, just to make sure we are well informed, wow!

I guess DEXTER75 needed some help....He is on here 24/7 working against Mr. Trump, he does not even sleep....

Oh, and by the way, Mr. Trump does NOT give up.

And I have read that some within the Republican party are warming up to him. They do not want to upset voters.

All of these biased articles from the pro HILLARY camp, are just to make people feel that their vote does not count, so why bother.

Bottom line, people need to ignore it all, and just VOTE for Mr. Trump.

There is a lot of money being used to try to destroy Mr. Trump from all sides.

Hey, there are posters on different forums, who are paid just to BASH Mr. Trump. And TROLL the forums...ummm

If they do that they might as well just go ahead nominate Hillary too since a whole lot of republicans will walk away if the primary votes are just discarded as irrelevant.

A whole lot of Republicans will walk away (or vote third party) if Trump is the GOP nominee. Whats the difference? Going to lose either way.

The difference? The Republican Party nullifying more than 50 primary elections throughout the entire US.

It would destroy the Party given the definitive proof that they don't believe in the voting rights of all Americans except for the very few who would then assume dictatorial powers available only to themselves. Which, in turn, would destroy those who attempted this takeover.

Remember the Tea Party? We're back again. Remember when people said that the Tea Party would be over when the corporate money went away? That didn't happen either. I remember how polite and well-mannered the Tea Party was, and how the media still insisted on calling them every name in the book. Simultaneous with that, the "Occupy" movement was trashing every place they infested, urinating and defecating in public, rapes, assaults, robberies and the media treated them like victims when law enforcement was finally forced to mace them in order to get them to dispurse.

Americans are tired of the manipulative mass media, and these propaganda tactics no longer work on us. The more united the media becomes in opposition to Trump, the more his success is guaranteed.
How could the RNC do something like this? Is this a serious question?

I agree. They are corrupt enough to change the rules half way through the race.
