Even if Cruz wins all of the 42 delegates from Wisconsin, he would remain ~245-250 delegates short of Trump with NY/PA/CT/DE/RI/MD voting on either 4/19 or 4/26. IMO, Cruz has no chance in any of those states and Kasich only a slight chance in PA.

Trump will most likely be well over 900 after 4/26 with CA/NJ yet to come.

Is Wisconsin Cruz' last stand ?

Yes it is and I doubt he will win.

Trump has met with the NRA today for hours and the NRA isn't stupid like the GOP!

I bet the NRA will support Trump as they know Democrats will vote for Trump but not for Cruz who is more a religious right winger.

Please--you honestly think the Republicans are going run Trump, a candidate that 75% of the women in the country dislike (more every day)?

And that's just for starters. They figure that if they are going to lose, they want to at least lose honorably rather than than have dead weight (and he's really starting to look rather chunky) drag them under.

What are you guys talking about? Kasich can't win 1,237 delegates, and Cruz can't either unless his Personal Jesus can deliver a miracle. They know that; they are not dumb.

They are both still in the race, because they know that the GOP will screw over Mr. Trump and elect one of them (or someone else) on the second or third ballot at the contested convention.

All those two are doing is trying to deny Mr. Trump from winning 1,237 delegates . . . . that's it.

This is correct. A lot of people are saying Cruz is being played for a fool as he is receiving endorsements from people who hate him (Jeb, Graham, etc.) solely to help him stop Trump.

With Trump earning < 1,237 pledged delegates, the powers that be will do their best to help someone besides Trump and Cruz win the nomination.

It makes sense. If they can pass over Trump why would they not pass over Ted who they don't like either ?

Also, Cruz would definitely lose to Hillary, but Kasich probably would beat her by a good margin. The establishment can use that argument.

Please ... Trump may get to 1,237 and the GOP won't have a choice. And where did you get that 75% number ? Did they poll all women at abortion clinics nationally ?

Then why isn't Rubio still in the race ?
