Historically the leading candidate loses in an open convention (only won 3 of the last 10 open GOP conventions). Eisenhower came from behind to win the 1952 convention.

yeah keep thinking that and don't tell the whole story about 1952 Gop Primary.
Only 13 states participated in the Primary in 1952....it came down to Eisenhower and Taft, both won 5 states each, for a total of 10 states out of 13. Both were NECK and NECK in delegates and votes.
Kasich only has won 1 state and is NOT NECK and NECK with Cruz or Trump in the delegate count or popular vote like Ike was with Taft.
tell me a candidate that was in Kasich shoes and has won the nomination?

if you want to bring 1952........then Kasich is playing the role of the Governor of California Earl Warren, he only won his home state in a 13 state primary.
Warren won his state by 66%
Kasich won his state by 46%.
Warren had 17% of the Popular vote
Kasich 13% of the Popular vote
Warren didn't come close in any of the ballots......but for some strange reason Kasich thinks he will win the nomination based on fantasy and this is the guy that wants to be President and tell the reality to the nation.....if he lies to himself about this he will lie to the nation about many other things.
