Did the NY daily news "gotcha" act on Bernie a turning point in Dem Primary!? Why Hillary was not interviewed first ?
The turning point was when Bernie did so horribly in the south and southeastern states, like Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Arkansas, Virginia, Tennessee, and Texas. When the democratic primaries reward delegates proportionately for all states, and you lose 65% to 35% or 70% to 30% or 80% to 20%, you are digging yourself a deep hole that more often than not you are not going to able to climb out of.
I think your fundamental question is flawed - there is no "gotcha" in asking a major candidate for President for details about his proposed policies and plans during a scheduled interview session with the editorial board of a newspaper. The fact that Bernie was not prepared to answer those questions - and in fact, per Jane's comments, was not even aware that the interview would be recorded - is a problem with him/his staff on their preparations. That is not "gotcha" journalism.
Ok...curious why they choose Bernie first! May be he volunteered ? Hillary had all the time to "PREPARE" for the interview and Bernie just said what he thinks, "NOT PREPARED"!

what? this wasn't the Miss America pageant drawing names out of a hat to answer questions with everyone standing on a stage together (I'm pretty sure they don't use a hat, I don't really care).
These were scheduled interviews, which the candidates had the ability to schedule at their own convenience. I have no idea why Bernie's was first but he's been running for president for a year now. If he's not prepared to answer substantive policy questions, that has zero to do with an interview that happened to be a few days before the same organization interviewed another candidate.
Since when is it a gotcha to recite exactly what you said word-for-word? It was a perfectly fair (and painfully obvious) question, too.
If you wanted Daily News to not repeat what you said to the Editorial Board, you simply ask to go off-the-record. Then you can disclose how what you say publicly is BS to get votes and that you would be VERY flexible on immigration. And when the other candidates demand the transcript of the off-the-record conversation be released, you simply refuse and ignore. Voila, that's how it's done, Mr. Sanders.

So what do you think was so bad about his answers? It was perfectly fine according to experts. Daily News is a tabloid rag owned by a billionaire and considered a joke of a paper, btw.
