If Trump is the GOP nominee he can peel away a few percentage points of Democrats and moderate Independents. Those voters will never support Cruz. Cruz appeals only to hard core right wing ultra-conservative Republicans ... and no one else.

Trump scored major brownie points with Caitlyn Jenner .
Cruz made her an enemy .
I know Jenner liked Cruz before but he really messed things up .
