Donald Trump rooted for the housing collapse so he could make "a lot of money."
Why would we put this person in charge of the economy? Everybody knows the rich make money when the economy collapses because they can buy assets cheaper. Trump's a real estate developer so it only makes sense that he would try to crash the market if he could. It's a lot easier for the rich to make money in a down market than in a market that keeps reaching new highs.
“I sort of hope that happens because then people like me would go in and buy. You know if you’re in a good cash position, which I’m in a good cash position today, then people like me would go in and buy like crazy,” he said, in audio posted by CNN. “If there is a bubble burst, as they call it, you know you could make a lot of money.”
Historically, when Republicans run the country, the country suffers economically. With four bankruptcies under his belt, Trump would likely ensure that.
Will Trump deliberately try to crash the economy so he can make money?
Nope.
But Trump will win the Presidency.
That's all you need to know about it.
Unless you are Donald Trump, you have no way of knowing. Based on his background though, it sure looks like he would. This is like putting the fox in charge of the hen house.

No. Unless you understand economics, which most here don't, it is waste of time to try to explain it. I don't know some of these questions...........schools are definitely failing our children.
