This was her way of expressing how she feels about Trumps "Make America Great Again" logo. I don't think she's going to sway many people using this tactic. It's one thing to have free speech and another to promote your political views while on the work clock.

She doesn't have the right to free speech while on the clock for her employer inside of the building that they own.

She's part of that crowd that refuses to serve lunch to Police Officers. Home Depot should give her her walking papers if they want to keep their business, especially on Staten Island.

That was in extremely poor taste and even worse in the workplace. As far as I know, U S citizens have the right to immigrate to another country if they so please. I suppose the fact that she works at Home Depot probably has a lot to do with her frustration. That frustration has a good chance of being solved if Trump is elected. Some people are just not bright enough to put it altogether. Most realize how much a decent job can do to enhance one's life.

If I had a business, my employees wouldn't wear a nose ring, either.

Her parent(s) named her Krystal Lake? They should have named her Finger.

What shocks me is that the management at Depot, at that specific store allowed her to wear it at work. She should have been told to take it off or go home. With the uproar that's come from this, I doubt they'll make the same mistake twice. The last thing stores want is to be labeled as being unpatriotic. I doubt that's very good for business.

This matter was resolved and now the managers at that store will start paying attention to what the employees are wearing. Ms. Lake was given warning. No business, especially a major retailer like HD, wants this kind of negative publicity.

Anybody know what Home Depot's dress code intails? She probably broke it. Sooooooo.

Good to know. I do realize that HD in no way would sanction this behavior by an employee. I'm just surprised the management at this particular store didn't realize she was wearing this hat. I'm certain they will be much more observant from now on.

And probably a Barack Obama, "Hope and Change" t-shirt along with that.
