Good old uncle pervy was in Seattle for a fundraiser Saturday, when he apparently thought this was a good idea:
Quote:
Addressing 50 guests at the Seattle home of public relations executive Roger Nyhus, the former vice president claimed businessmen making "fun of a gay waiter" was routinely acceptable.
Those remarks sparked outcries from the audience, who yelled "Not in Seattle!" Others disputed that casual acts of bigotry such as the kind Biden described would not be met with objections.
And it doesn't sound like it got much better.
Quote:
Much of Biden's speech thereafter, according to his presidential campaign's pool report, were indecipherable due to the fact that he spoke so softly.
Biden's first tour of Iowa since he launched his campaign in April was also defined by vocal awkwardness. During two speeches in the state, Biden repeatedly slurred and stammered over words like "dignity," "hospital," and "successful," making coverage of the events difficult for press in attendance.

Biden has a history of saying dumb things. But, this isn't really one of them. His point was not too long ago it was social acceptable to make fun of gay people, now its not. Now maybe it was longer than 5 years ago when that was the case, maybe more like 15 years. But, the broader point is basically correct.

Agreed. If anything, it was Biden's big mouth that led to Obama coming out publicly in full support of gay marriage. Joe does have a clear history of making gaffes. In the case of LGBT rights his "gaffe" in that case actually spurred Obama to move faster than he initially planned.

The Democrat Party and their complicit Media do NOT WANT BIDEN. They want a younger, more hip candidate. They don't want Bernie either. Look what they did to Bernie last time.

DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz and a lot of other women wanted a women so bad before they died they pushed Cliton even though she might be the worst Democrat nominee ever, and rigging the debates in here favor. Now these same Women see Harris as there final chance to have women as president Harris is just as bad and hated as Clinton.
