I agree 100%..however..IF this Weeks guy was a "Chippendale Type" body..You have to know everybody would have cheered. Sorry Mr. Weeks..You didn't meet the "Body Image" of those in the crowd!!
I was actually embarrassed for him..but more so for the Libertarian folks, who are trying to represent an alternative
Then again..after watching GOP Nominee..Not so sure about just what isn't acceptable any more???? Loose Cannon, rambling, self-serving types..or someone who wants to allow the whole nation to do exactly what they want as long as they get held accountable...
Course IF there are no regulations nor laws governing what's "Right or Wrong"..then it becomes a free for all..regardless of level any egregiousness

Exactly! And a lot of people with a serious libertarian orientation also weren't too happy when that schlockmeister, Howard Stern, tried to identify as a libertarian some years ago.
Was this really any more embarrassing than the elderly white people at Tea Party rallies with their mobility scooters, costumes, misspelled signs, and "Keep your government hands off my Medicare" type slogans?
IMO, the Rubicon of decency and decorum in politics was crossed long ago. In the last few years alone, I have seen scores of retirees and Medicare recipients whining about the evils of socialized medicine with zero trace of irony, witnessed a drunken or drug addled Sarah Palin doing a rambling stand up routine while using a Big Gulp as a prop at what was supposed to be a major political speech and one of the two major parties just nominated a reality TV star to run for President. We also just saw the top two guys running to be the GOP nominee spend weeks arguing about whether their respective wives were too ugly and/or slutty to be First Lady.
The fact that a fat guy stripping his clothes off on stage at a Libertarian Party event would be the most normal and sane thing that has happened in this election cycle is a sad indictment of American politics and the travesty that our democratic process has become.
I mean any undecideds looking at the Libertarian party had to wonder if they are truly serious after that spectacle.
