Months ago when the Republican primaries were the hot topic, Obama joked about Trump.
Today, there seemed to be a lot more strain & waiver in his voice. All joking has been placed to the side and he is worried.

If Trump is elected, the entire Democratic Party will be relentlessly laughing at Trump and the GOP. The jokes haven't even started yet. You think Bush was the object of ridicule? You haven't seen anything yet. I'm guessing Trump would be impeached if he's ever elected and I'm guessing Republicans will help do it. I want Hillary to win but a Trump win would destroy the Republican Party so there's that.

Mike Pence had to run out and cover for Trump already today. I read somewhere that someone likened Trump to a sugar-hyped 10 year old joyriding an Abrams tank.

Take out that "which one is different than the other" (Economist/Yougov) And Trump has a 7% point lead.

If somehow the GOP pulls a Supermajority, which it has never had before, there will be some crapping pants, in the streets of Obamaville.
Hillary is almost sealing the deal for that with record low Democrat voter turn out.

It's a long way to November but make no mistake, Trump and the GOP will be the object of relentless ridicule if he wins. Unfortunately that could be dangerous for the world what with tiny hand's thin skin but any result of that will also be at the feet of the GOP. The GOP has a mess on their hands and they don't even know it.

He spoke with passion in the very beginning, now, he only speaks with passion when he's talking about Trump.

It takes Trump to get him excited lol

Only democrats care about who democrats laugh at, the rest of us are too busy paying the bills and fixing your mistakes. Pardon us if we do what it takes to keep this country alive while you worry about making jokes and acting like spoiled children who just lost a soccer game.

Many of you claimed Trump could NEVER win the nomination, Many of you claimed his nomination would destroy the Republican party and many of you claimed the Republican party was dead in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, etc etc etc. You've got plenty to worry about, stop trying to act like dems aren't scared as hell right now.

Your faux outrage and great wisdom is duly noted, just make sure my order is correct.

Oh, if Trump wins, let them get it all. Let them get their way and end Obamacare, Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security, abolish the IRS, end the EPA, end any teaching of evolution, sell off all the nation's parks, end the public education system, declare war on every country, tell billionaires they don't have to pay any taxes since they're rich - coincides perfectly with ending Medicare and Social Security - abolish gay rights and abortion (but multiple divorces are super great) and tell Trump he is emperor because president is just not good enough. Do it all. Let the GOP own the mess and then in four years, once again, Democrats will clean it up and we can point and the wreckage and say "See? They did it twice and the second time was even worse that before."

For all that though, I think Trump would get into a legal, global disastrous debacle and be impeached, which is fine too.

Is that to imply I work in fast food? This is why I so want to see the end of Medicare and Social Security. My taxes are paying so seniors who are living way beyond the meager amount they contributed can sit around.

What do I have to fear that won't hurt Republicans more? I'm not an immigrant, I'm not a senior, I work in the private sector and have my own health coverage. I paid for my own college, no student loans. I need nothing from you. I would like to see Paul Ryan get his way on entitlement reform. When Medicare was passed, people were not living so long. Give them a voucher and tell them to pound sand. Same with Social Security. If government is bad, it's all bad. Let's put everyone on the same level. I want to see seniors shopping for insurance policies.
