I think some of these polls use a list of persons on the "Obamaphone" listing, you know the ones costing Americans a million dollars a year. Plus as someone mentioned, those people would actually be available to answer their phones since the ones paying for the Obamaphones are at work.

Ask yourself, who answers their phones when they don't recognize the number?

I don't pay that much attention to the polls but what people are saying and the latest reports on Hillary's "problems". I see it getting more difficult to pull the trigger on that Hillary vote all the time.

If find it remarkable that Hilary has spent 7X more than Trump and she isn't doing any better.
I can't access that article, but I believe I found it elsewhere:

Traditional polling may be underselling Trump's strength - Washington Times

I doubt it. "Calling grandma on her rotary line" ... it seems like those who have landlines are disproportionately older and would lean more Republican. If anything, perhaps the polls overestimate Trump's level of support. Then again, that demographic is also more likely to show up at the polls than younger Hillary supporters, so perhaps it all evens out in the end. I remember a lot of talk in '08 that the polls were inaccurate and overestimating Obama's level of support -- but they ended up being quite accurate. Same nonsense theories were cited then, as well - i.e., that people who opposed Obama were less willing to tell that over the phone to a pollster. All ended up being totally wrong.

Online polling is NOT a good substitute for traditional polling because it is NOT representative. It is widely acknowledged that Trump has a more enthusiastic base of supporters, who are probably more inclined to partake in online polling. Hillary supporters are more numerous, however (according to the best polling data available), but probably less enthusiastic overall, & less willing to volunteer in an online poll to pick Hillary.

Can't rep you -- out of rep bullets but thanks for the laugh.

When all the polls show Hilary up 7-10 points in the fall the narrative with go from

"its early, you can't look at polls now " to "All the polls are wrong, look at the unskewed polls"

Then the day after the asswhooping it will all be

"the whole thing was rigged man, the establishment screwed trump"

Yeah, I can easily envision that. For some, denial is not just a river in Egypt...

The Orange clown is now asking his followers for an emergency donation of $100k to run an ad against Hillary. People are so stupid they will send their hard earned money to this crook . The Billionaire needs money from the little people while he brags that he is self-funding... Just like he needed the money of those Trump University students.

Just crazy to think of what would compel ordinary people to donate to a billionaire businessman-turned-politician, whose campaign is built on the notion of his self-funding.

There's no growth in Hillary's chart. She's topped out. Trump had a chance to runaway with the Independent vote soon after he became the presumptive nominee, but he blew it. He has a chance to get them back. Although that's looking dire at this point, I suppose anything can happen.
