What? So, you are saying that it is all up to the Speaker (and, by extension, Congress), instead of the president, to get things done? alrighty. So, why all the complaints about Obama, since the republicans vowed to keep him from having any successes? It is all because congress is ruled by republicans!
No, I'm saying a different Speaker might not have held Clinton's 'feet to the fire' as much fiscally. Whatever success they had together was a joint success.
But we don't know what some of those years would have been like had Gingrich not been the Speaker and had we not had a once in a lifetime change in technology (an Internet browser for the masses).
We know for a fact that Clinton's successor and his GOP congress certainly dumped all those gains.
Does EW ever make a speech where she doesn't yell the whole thing? I'm beginning to think she's hard of hearing. Hillary is loud, too, but not even close to Warren. Hillary was bobbleheading while EW was screeching so I'm guessing she agrees with her. I find it surprising that Warren supports Ms NAFTA/TPP.
Obama released a radio ad in S.C., in which the narrator says, “Hillary Clinton championed NAFTA even though it has cost South Carolina thousands of jobs. It’s what’s wrong with politics today. Hillary Clinton will say anything to get elected.” Jan 24, 2008
Barack Obama accused Clinton of flip-flops on trade. Obama said, “Senator Clinton in her campaign has been for NAFTA previously, now she’s against it.” Oct 30, 2007
Elizabeth Warren is most everyone's pick for the vice presidential slot
she is a wonderful human being. Warren for years has been fighting for middle class families and taking on big banks.
She would be a great choice to help Hillary lose in November.
