It is avoidable. We will never help Mexico. If we wanted to we would have sent the marines in to kill the cartels for good.
Having gun control here is the first step to helping Mexico reign in the cartels; but we don't do it because.... conservatives.
We sell guns to Mexico in exchange for drugs. Not enough people realize this.

No, I'm a realist. As in, I live in the real world, not the imaginary one you guys live in.
If you don't want globalism you should move away from this globe. I hear SpaceX is planning on carrying people to outer space. You just have to figure out a way to stay out there.

I'm not saying it doesn't happen, eliminate the ones coming from the U.S. and they will go elsewhere. It isn't like they don't have the money. Although, from many of the news clips I've seen they seem to like full auto firearms. That isn't something they can get easily from here. Just saying.
I think you are wrong in your theory that it would help Mexico out though.
Great 3 minute video. Would Hillary ever say anything like this? Never in a million years. https://youtu.be/EOyma_8dFm0
I don't necessarily disagree with his overall sentiment here. However, I have no reason to believe he's sincere or capable of following through with any of this. So.... yeah, Hillary would do this? They both lie to get people to clap 40 times per speech (seriously, wait until the ****ing end, and if you really can't contain it, limit to two times per speech; not everything needs applauds and that criticism goes out to more than just Trump supporters).
Maybe what we really ought to be doing is rethinking the entire concept of "work." Maybe raising perfect kids could be considered "work" and people could be paid for that? There simply aren't going to be the "jobs of the past" in the future and we need to realize it and move on.
How about if we rethink the whole concept of the monetary economic system?
Reagan started this whole mess with his "trickle down" economic theory. The whole idea of giving more of our money to corporations so they could "trickle down" on us was ridiculous, yet stupid people bought into it.
What needs to happen is that the poor need to be given more money so they can go out and spend it -- making the wealthy earn their money. The "trickle up" theory.
I don't know that governments create jobs. I'm not sure that is even their responsibility. Jobs come from the private sector and as the Reagan Administration was exiting the building along came Bill Gates with Microsoft. Bill Gates brought the computer into every home and every office world wide, thus bringing in new jobs.
Gates is to the 21st Century as Ford was to the 20th. We need another one.
Governments don't solve problems, they create them. At the present the U.S. Government is the number one employer in America, not any one in the private sector and that is where the jobs went to. Interesting if one thinks of their taxes and just how it is these government employees obtain their salaries? It's just basics in economics in accounting to understand why and where there is a strain on our earnings.
btw: it was Trump with the job offerings, before it was Gates. Trump was the top earning in the U.S. for many years.
