For those old enough to remember "Democrats For Nixon":

It's really important that Republican leaders, especially Republican women leaders, stand up right now and say we're not OK with Trump representing our party," said Jennifer Lim, a group founder who works at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and has spent much of her life volunteering for Republican causes and campaigns. "This is not a position I ever wanted to find myself in. But it's important that when things like this happen that people speak up."
Lim's role as a leader within the new group is independent of her day job. But earlier this week, the Chamber clashed with Trump over his embrace of protectionist trade policies, which the business group opposes.
Over the next several months, members of Republican Women for Hillary plan to provide cover for Republicans looking to speak out against Trump, whose surprising rise has torn the party apart.
For these women, this was not an easy decision. No Republican could have ever seen themselves supporting Hillary Clinton, not with such a vast field of Republican Candidates that were all, with the exception of Donald Trump, vastly superior choices.
don't believe everything you read. There is little chance more than a handful of Republican women will vote for Hillary. Many may not vote at all, but they are not going to cast a vote for her.
I don't know how any woman could vote for Hillary, she is not your granny, mother or friend and don't even look at her husband because bad things might happen to you.
I think most women are smart enough to see right through her lies, deceit and hypocrisy and know that she does not represent them.

I agree. I don't see that happening. I haven't actually heard any Republican woman say they would vote for a candidate simply because the candidate was a female and "it is time". And, you have the abortion thing with Hillary wanting to restore partial birth abortion. And, the fact that Hillary is one of the most immoral human beings on the face of the earth and going "there"........ Pipe dreams!

From the OP's link: "While men are traditionally more likely to vote Republican than women, Trump still needs the female vote. As the Atlantic recently reported, Trump has to "attract 58 percent of white women to reach a national majority." This may be why Congressional Republicans have reportedly asked Trump to soften his tone with female voters."
Does anyone seriously think that trump will get 58 percent of white women to vote for him?
