Trending right now in online msg boards :

1. Pro HRC or Pro Trump supporter starts thread with some recent news or controversy

2. Anti crowd replies with some venomous remarks

3. Pro people level charges of dishonesty or racism

4. Anti people bring up about corruption or dirty tricks

5. Pro people call for tax returns or transcripts

6. Anti people bring up Obama administration or Bush

7. Pro people say they are getting under his skin or we see the word sigh in a press conference

Eventually the Pro is impossible to separate from the Anti. They become one and maybe were always one.

And so it goes on and on in an almost monotonous fashion from now until November.

They should just hold the election now and get it over with it.

Either of these two candidates will need all the time they can get to deliver on any of the mighty election promises.

In US history I don't know, I haven't lived through all of them, but this one will be pretty bad hands down.

It will only be the worst if Hillary wins. I so hope America wakes up to what these people are doing. You slept through the 8 years of Obama. One would think it could not get any worse but it can and will if she is elected. However bad you think Trump is; she is 100 times worse. I don't want to live in a communist country and both Obama and Hillary lean communist. Total power hogs.

I feel it is the saddest election I've witnessed in my 70 years. With the many great minds we have in this country, it comes down to two people that should never be considered to lead this country.

I am ashamed of both candidates and wonder why we accepted them. Very sad.

It doesn't matter. Neither of these buffoons can fix the rot that has infested the USA. That can't be fixed with elections or politics.

It's evidence of how far gone this country is when this is what we can choose between.

It'll be interesting to see which direction this election goes in now. We knew the fix was in, Comey confirmed the fix today, and Obama and Hillary are off campaigning together while burning taxpayer dollars.

So the Democrats are running the most ethically challenged candidate since Nixon, the DNC knows it, the MSM knows it and the more honest Democrats on CD know it. The only way to combat this is going to be to smear Trump as hard as they can.

So yes, this could possibly be the ugliest campaign in American history. It's guranteed that the NYT and WaPo have a backlog of stories about Trump they plan to churn out all summer. The Twitter smear campaign will involve atrocious lies about Trump that the cabels will eagerly pick up and run with.

The plan is that come November voters will be presented with candidates they have to decide who they hate the least.

In U.S. history? No. Many were worse.

It is not so much the candidates , but rather what we all have become too. Gone now are the days of open and honest dialog. In it's place partisan politics, at main street level, like we have never seen before.

Many people will turn off politics for good after this election. Not as a protest against Washington, rather a need to regain their own sanity.

No, this time it is very much the candidates. We have two despicable people who are entirely unqualified running for president.

Some are saying, others have been worse, but none of us lived through those, so how can we really judge? Probably the better question should be: ugliest or dirtiest in modern history. Put that way. OMG yes. I have been voting for more years than most of you have been on this earth. Never have I seen anything to come close. Of course the candidates have no choice, because neither really has much positive to run on.

For the responder who mention the campaign is already boring: I could not agree less. The only boring part might be, knowing ahead of time who the candidates will be.

We have one candidate that intends on making the convention a TV reality show by inviting celebrities to speak. Of course that is due to knowing so many who could have been speakers have decided not to even attend. Here comes the big TV special of the year, featuring The Trump family speakers and "athletes for Trump" gang.

The following week, we get to watch the socialist camp out, featuring the Sanders supporter camping out in t the nearly camp grounds. You can watch them as they drink their Ripple wine or cool aide, eat pot laced brownies and watch them protest. They really think he will be able to change the country: they are asking for a president that will guarantee them $20 or more an hour while assuring them there will be no increase in goods. They are sure free education is around the corner whether a person should even attend college and they know their socialist views will not affect their taxes, while giving them free health care. You might even see Sanders camping out with them still using the sleeping bag he used back in his protest days.

While all of this is happening, inside the convention hall we can see Hillary being interviewed and claiming it is all a right wing conspiracy as she plots her next questionable act.

Now, tell me the next few months will be dull?
