[quote]Presented in a recent interview with a scenario, floating around the political ether, in which the presumptive Republican nominee proves all the naysayers wrong, beats Hillary Clinton and wins the presidency, only to forgo the office as the ultimate walk-off winner, Mr. Trump flashed a mischievous smile.
“I’ll let you know how I feel about it after it happens,” he said, minutes before leaving his Trump Tower office to fly to a campaign rally in New Hampshire.
Maybe Trumpie is smarter than I give him credit for, and actually recognizes that he has no ability to actually run the country even if he did manage to win the election. Or perhaps he still hasn't grasped that this isn't just another reality TV show that he gets to walk away from when he gets bored and wants to move on to something new, the way he does with wives.

I haven't seen or read anywhere that Hillary wouldn't quit if she is elected. That's something to think about. After she gets that trophy on her wall, what else is there?
Some posters on the forum think Cruz should be a SC appointment. I think? Cruz has argued 2 cases in front of the court. I do not think that Cruz will run with Trump but if offered he would take that seat on the court.

I don't believe they would offer Cruz a SC seat because he has a character flaw that doesn't allow him to get along with other people.
I think that Trump simply wants the trophy on his wall. I'm not so sure that he is really going to be interested in governing.
this is all about his ego - he feels like he's a King when all these people come to rallies to hear him talk - he lives like a King in a palace....he won't know the first thing about governing - he's a salesman, not someone who governs.

Since when is that a prerequisite for being on the Supreme Court? The justices rarely speak to each other. They work separately and submit their opinions in writing. Also it is easier to get along with 8 people than 99.
Just think how much better off we would be if the last two presidents did this.
