This is moving the discussion into a new dimension... which will grow as we approach November. You don't have to be partisan... you don't have to be a Democrat... to vote against Trump... you just have to be a real American.
An American who embraces the values that carried our country this far would not vote for Trump.
This certainly rule Clinton out right at the gate.
For my whole life the Houston Chronicle has been the mouthpiece of the Chamber of Commerce.
They have new management from the north. The local man got kicked to the golf course a couple of years ago. They traditionally endorse Republicans for POTUS.
Did anyone actually read this 'endorsement'? It reads like The Onion. About the only thing they neglected to say is "we couldn't endorse the First Woman before she was nominated". Funny stuff.

I just read here at C-D yesterday that the larger cities in TX were "blue" but that does not represent the majority. There are also some issues with that particular news source which I won't detail, but people aren't necessarily supportive of their "stand". In other words, I wouldn't get all excited about it meaning squat.
Yeah, but Hillary is getting a lot of Republican votes. Many of the National Security people are voting for her, like that General who gave his endorsement yesterday and many of the people who worked for Bush and Reagan.
I can count those names with 2 hands,names that are meaningless....the majority of the Armed Service members are supporting Trump over Hillary by a 2 to 1 margin in all military polls. If Obama couldn;t get the military vote and he had high numbers on trust, Hillary will get less than Obama, especially because their record with the military, foreign policy and veterans affair disaster.
again, back to Texas, Texans love their guns and are PRO-Life folks and HILLARY is anti-second amendment and for abortions on demand , she has no shot in Texas.
