I predict, next rodeo, the RNC will have superdelegates in place. They have to thwart their base to pick electable canidates. Imagine if Carson had won too. Their conservative main stream voter, call them out of touch, call them deplorable, call them uninformed, but I am sure the Republican infrastructure will check these folks in the future.

I don't see how that could help, it isn't helping the Democrats at this point. I mean, look at what the cat dragged in there despite having super delegates.

From the leaks, we know that Hillary was chosen before the campaign began. Why couldn't the GOP do the same thing? Maybe because Republicans have a backbone? The old GOP party, having many attributes that Trump is falsely claimed to have, hasn't produced a winner and look, they had 17 and Trump won the nomination. This seems fair enough.

The old GOP is dead. That is not a bad thing.

And, what is wrong with Carson? Oh, he is black and that isn't something that would have went down well with the party. As I said, the old GOP is dead and that isn't a bad thing.

I think that a Party needs to select it's candidate. Too many of the primaries allowed for independents as well as Dems. to vote in their primaries. The call of some to allow non-members to vote in a primary is wrong. It takes nothing to belong to a party and does not mean you must vote along party lines. However if you want to change it's direction then you must be a member. It is hard to change a group from the outside.

Why not allow Parties to pick their own candidates skip the Primaries and wasted money. Allow all Parties with 75,000 or more registered voters/members to be on the ballots in all 50 States. Those with 10% in polls by August will be allowed to Debate.
