Very good read, sums up what I have been gently trying to explain to my fellow Republicans over the past few years. We can't win with angry old White men anymore. Sorry folks. Either we evolve and adapt to the changing demographics (ie: dropping politics rooting in appealing to White resentment) or we die. Simple as that.

Yep, you are right. He has to better his image with women and voters with college degrees and hope Clinton loses a decent amount of younger voters to 3rd party candidates.

Its mid August, not gonna happen. That kind of image reshaping would take a good year or so and even then, Trump is incapable of doing something like that.

It really is as simple as that.

There will be a new generation of old, White men coming up, but hard to say what their politics will be.

Read recently that public schools are about 50% White these days. These may be slightly skewed because of private schools and homeschooling, but it's not far off.

Good Old Boys have had a good long run, though.

I'm at a loss at how Trump might do that. Can't imagine how he could change to appeal to anyone who has passed a course in logic and reasoning and I think the women vote is out of reach, frankly.

I am not an old white guy. I am 31. My mother and wife are voting for Trump. Both white females.

The Washington Post is Bias..

Trump announced the ban in a June 13 Facebook post. "Based on the incredibly inaccurate coverage and reporting of the record setting Trump campaign, we are hereby revoking the press credentials of the phony and dishonest Washington Post,"

Post reporters have not been allowed into the press area at campaign rallies. Reported by CNN

As stated by many reporters - the "Silent Majority" has no way to be correctly estimated. Trump's large rally's two to three times a day - at least four times a week. In person his is reaching 10,000's of supporters weekly. There is a very large unregistered movement supporting him. Can you imagine Trump running the states come election day...

I trust NOTHING the corporate owned mainstream media tells me. They are just trying another tactic to make people think there is no possible way for Trump to win and they shouldn't even bother showing up to vote.
