We are all pleased as punch that Donald John Trump flew into Louisiana, donated a truck-full of supplies (although no one knows if he paid for the contents, or his campaign paid for the contents, or Mr. Pence hijacked the truck and drove it down to meet Trump), visited for some 30 minutes and asked questions, and then flew off north to speak at a rally. Really, the people of Louisiana could not be more pleased. "Losing everything I own, well, it was worth it to see Mr. Trump and be able to buy one of his hats saying "Make Louisiana Dry Again", was frequently heard.

Obama? Lazy. The rains began on August 11th. On August 14th President Obama finally got around to
declaring that a major disaster existed in the State of Louisiana and ordered Federal aid to supplement state and local recovery efforts. Here is a nice list of the help FEMA is proffering:

Oddly enough, I have a memory. It goes all the way back to March 2016, when Obama again had declared portions of Louisiana a disaster area due to flooding, with Federal government assistance:

Major Disaster Declared for the State of Louisiana | Office of the Governor of Louisiana

I wonder why Donald John Trump, aka "Mother Teresa Trump", did not visit the good people of Louisiana at that time? Could it be because the Louisiana Primary was on March 5th, and the flooding was a week afterwards? Hmmmmmmmmmm?

? Not sure what you mean. Trump attorneys sent legal notices of intent to file claims to the news outlets. How is my saying that BS or negative?

As of last reports, FEMA has helped tens of thousands of people and they did so irrespective of who those people voted for or plan to vote for.

Trump spent all of 49 seconds getting his picture taken in front of a truck and donated $100,000 to a church that is headed by a Trump supporter.

People are entitled to place whatever value they choose on the different responses, however, I am willing to bet that in the final analysis, it will have been the federal government that provided the most assistance.
Yes, like they said the best way to help is send money and supplies and stay out of the way. He had to go in for a photo-op.

Until Melania provides sworn testimony via depositions or testifies under oath on the stand, I will assume that she is lying her ass off. Trump is using his wealth to intimidate the press, hoping to hide the truth. Does anyone really think that Donald Trump wouldn't hook up with a mail order bride that was in the country illegally? The only reason this is even a story is Trump decided to run for President mainly on the basis that he hates illegal immigrants.

The Clinton Campaign is cancelling advertising in certain battleground states they deem won. Trump in no way stands a chance of winning in Oregon, Colorado and probably also Nevada. Both are using their resources, in their opinions, in a wise way.

Nice try, but a real reach.

IMO that ought to put CNN, NY Times and WashPo at the head of the list.

Trump has cancelled more Rally's than Clinton has scheduled. #Where'sHillary?

Turns out - Trump is working on a big Immigration Speech and it's not rea dy yet. He has held some meetings, gone to the Louisiana Disaster and is doing a couple of big Fundraisers. While in Texas, he is taping a Town Hall on Immigration and Border Security and doing a Fundraiser & Rally in Austin. The Town Hall on Immigration was an Add-On and no point in leaving Texas until it was done - so he rescheduled a few things.

As far as the "she's suing news outlets" -- Read the article, she is NOT suing outlets, she is offering them a chance to apologize and retract OR the Lawsuits are a guarantee. They are on notice that Mr Trump is not going to allow the Leftist Media to "Palinize" his wife. Good for him and her - Trump doesn't mess around when he Hires - his Lawyer in this case is the guy who sued Gawker (RIP) for Hulk Hogan.

Yet, Bush cancelled the remainder of his vacation and was criticised for flying over New Orleans.
If he was or was not responsible for the semi truck, the fact that he visited and talked to people is what mattered to them. As for the whole 49 seconds, I saw him with a big box of socks, and Gerber items included in what he was helping to unload. Actions speak louder than words.
