A net worth of 250k is middle class. Bill Clinton was 46 when he became President, many working people have a net worth that exceeds 250k by the time they are in their late 40s. Are you sure your number is correct?

Sorry I meant three quarters of a million!! I believe I read he stated his net worth at the time was 780,000.

Also, I agree, even $780,000 net worth is not THAT much. However, I would not call a net worth of that amount middle class. I also believe I read that Hillary's net worth was not included in that figure.

The thing is, Trump is promising far more than he can delivery (as with all politicians), if he were ever to be elected, he ceases to be an employer, he himself cannot create a single job. He can only promote his policy to improve the economy which in turn may create jobs. If he decides to regulate offshore business, then he adds more layers of regulation to an already burdened system and further detracts from making America a good place to do business as a manufacturer or as a partner. What happened to all of the "shovel ready" jobs Obama promised? How much of the bailout money went into the national economy vs. the big banks and Wall Street? More government (Hillary's venue), and more regulation (Trump plank) are not going to do anything for the average working American. Haven't we been through this before? It's the economy stupid!

Just Obama.

I couldn't speak for the net worth of the rest of the presidents though. $250K would put Clinton in middle class territory today, but not back in the early 90's.

I mistyped. His net worth was 780,000 give or take.. which still is not extremely wealthy but not middle class at ll. Obama net worth was 1.3 million when he ran for President the first time. Not middle class either.

You're right. I though he made his first million in 2007, but it looks like his first million was made in 2005-2006.
