That wouldn't be a debate. It would be a screaming match where the candidates tried to outyell their opponent, or not let them talk at all.

In other words, a verbal brawl.

If Hillary is running on her policy knowledge I think Trump is safe! Benghazi,Pay to Play,Syria red line,Iraq pullout....ah yes all these wonderful policies of Clinton!

Yeah, Trump should man-up and deal with it! Or is he really stupid enough to believe that as POTUS he'd be dealing with a Congress that was completely unbiased? Might as well prove he can deal with those who don't share his views from the start, or would that just generate yet another hissy fit?

Are you speaking for him now? Most people are saying they gave Trump what he wanted so he wouldn't back out. He loves Holt and Wallace is Fox News, so he can hardly whine over that. He and the cult will have a difficult time calling it rigged.

"...I think Lester Holt is a good guy,' Trump said...He gave Holt his stamp of approval and said, 'I’m okay with having new faces..."

As far no moderator--that's funny.

Only a bully wants no moderators--makes sense. Problem is the guy never shuts up and talks over everyone. Also wouldn't have to answer hard questions.

Let's stop grading this guy on a curve and babying him.

With 10 different Congressional Committees investigating her and 33 hearings, over 250 witnesses questioned, 13 official reports and 1,982 pages of published reports, 4 public hearings, an 11 hour marathon of questioning in a televised hearing in which she didn't flinch....

please tell me what charges have been brought against Clinton.

Trump cannot possibly debate Clinton on any issues that require actual knowledge, since he is clueless about the way our government is run. He also doesn't know the names of many world leaders and has flip-flopped so much on issues that he would need to be fact-checked constantly.

Clinton is very far from perfect and needs some fact-checking too, but Trump has won the prize for the most "pants on fire" and "4 Pinocchio" ratings (ever) from Politifact and the Washington Post.

For example, he can say over and over "I never supported invading Iraq" but the record proves that's untrue.

He can also talk about how outsourcing ruined our economy, but Trump shirts, suits, ties and other products were outsourced to countries including Bangladesh, China, Mexico and India.

....and the list goes on and on and on and on

Its sad if you STILL think someone as evil, dangerous and corrupt as the Clinton Criminal Cartel would let something as silly as a congressional hearing to get in their way of absolute power. Get in her way and end up on the Clintons death list....its quite long.

Even with a moderator, Trump is a sight to behold. Remember the Republican "debates?" At one point, it looked like he might actually whip out his johnson.

Lord knows what he would do without a moderator.

Matt Lauer pitched him softballs. He probably realizes he can't count on that in the upcoming debates.

Oh, how I wish Rachel Maddow was one of the moderators.

The more people coming at her, the most likely she is to seizure, so I would prefer "the more the merrier". Let's just get it over with during the first debate. I suppose that Trump doesn't want to be the one to give her "the big one" though so maybe this is why he wants to debate one-on-one?

The bigger question is, "Who will be debating Trump?".
