Explain how it's different. In neither case is there a reason to suspect the individual being searched, other than who they are: Bkack person, air passenger.

Being an air passenger is a choice. Being black is not. You subject yourself to search when you agreed to the terms a condition on your plane ticket (read the fine print).
I did not agree to be searched with the act of being born.

I can't believe I have to explain the difference to anyone old enough to be on the internet, but if you're going to insist on pretending not to know it, then I'll donate 30 seconds. The difference is that in one case, you are making a choice as to whether you wish to board an airplane, and one of the requirements for boarding the airplane is that you consent to being searched for weapons - and in the other case, you are simply going about the normal activities of your day to day life, and the government arbitrarily searches you in violation of the 4th Amendment.
I now sit back and wait to see how you pretend not to understand this. I'll bet you say something like, "If I have to travel for my job, I don't have any choice but to fly." That will be hilarious.
