Poll: Majority of Voters Say Clinton Won First Presidential Debate - NBC News

A majority of likely voters (52 percent) who either watched the debate or said they followed debate coverage in the news said Hillary Clinton won the first presidential debate on Monday night, according to the NBC News|SurveyMonkey Debate Reaction Poll.

Just 21 percent of likely voters thought Donald Trump won the debate, and 26 percent said neither candidate won the debate.

Funny, but it's an online poll. Not worth anything in the real world.

That's not really that great for HRC. That means 47% of people do not think she won. Much worse than the CNN poll who had over 60% thinking she won. Anyway, most people agree that Trump did not do well (except, well, Trump lol).

And regardless of the idiocy of who "won" the debate, it didn't help Clinton and did not hurt Trump. Matter of fact, he's polling even more strongly now.

You must have a different definition of strong than most people. Trump has been dipping in the polls while Hillary is gaining. http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/...d=rrpromo#plus

You ought to go to work for Trump because that is pretty good spin.

The majority of people who watched the debate thought Clinton won. And that's all she needs in order to win, a majority of likely voters.

BTW, do you remember who got 47% of the vote in 2012? That's right, it was the loser in that election. So it seems like she's on a good trajectory here.

I think Trump did fine for a first debate with her especially against the odds he had to face. She attempted to make him lose it, and he didn't. She managed not to have a coughing fit, seizure or pass out, so that was impressive and little else.

This ^^^. Hillary's decline or at best holding and Trump's gains in support were not dependent on the debates. None of the debates will change what we have learned over the last year.

You won't convince many people of that, even those here starting endless negative thread about Trump, jumping in every thread about the woes of Hillary and deflecting to Trump and Hillary begging her supporters for money and to convince other gullible people to join in supporting her.

RealClearPolitics - Election 2016 - General Election: Trump vs. Clinton He seems to be doing fine to me. Every time someone admits that they support Clinton, they'll be someone asking "Have you heard........?" and if they haven't they will be informed.

Debates mean nothing. I found her inappropriate laughter disgusting as usual. She definitely a screw loose.
