This is the first time in 34 years the newspaper has taken sides in a presidential race.
"From the day he declared his candidacy 15 months ago through this week’s first presidential debate, Trump has demonstrated repeatedly that he lacks the temperament, knowledge, steadiness and honesty that America needs from its presidents."
USA Today and most of American media are clueless about what our country needs. Liberal, faithless, humanist journalists are the laSt people we need to be telling us who to vote for. In fact, vote for whoever they hate. Another hearty endorsement for Mr. Trump from my perspective.

How about the reliably Republican-leaning newspapers that have endorsed Hillary?
It's just one after another of editorial boards doing this. This is serious business and it is really grating me that the Republican establishment is not stepping up to do the same. They made a grievous error in nominating him. Maybe they can be excused by thinking that he really was not what he appeared to be in the primary. But now, there can be no doubt. Anyone who stands for America can't stand with Trump. Trump is a threat to our nation and the world.
Not like they had much choice by the time the convention rolled around. The howling Trump supported would have crucified them if they nominated anyone else.
Some of the other newspapers that usually endorse the Republican nominee include:
The Houston Chronicle
The Cincinnati Enquirer
The Dallas Morning News
The Arizona Republic
It must be noted that even some Republican clubs refuse to endorse Trump - such as the Harvard Republican Club and the University of Pennsylvania Republican Club.
Why is it acceptable for supposed unbiased newspapers, who are supposed to just report the news in an neutral fashion, is now expressing support for a politician? How in the hell is that objective? The GD Arizona Republic? Seriously? In a state whos citizens CLEARLY oppose illegal immigration, happily endorese a candidate who wants open borders? What sense does that make?

Newspapers in America have been endorsing political candidates via their editorial pages for 200 years. It's what they do. If you'd ever read a newspaper in your life, you'd know that.
