Washington Post blogger Chris Cillizza seemed to suggest on MSNBC’s Morning Joe Monday that Donald Trump‘s use of female pronouns to refer to Hillary Clinton during the presidential debate would hurt him with women voters.

“He needs independents, he needs women,” Cillizza argued. “There’s just not much there last night that I think would convince you if you were not for him previously, particularly if you’re a woman.”

“He kept referring to Hillary Clinton as ‘she,’ ‘her,’” he pointed out. “Which was a concerted strategy, I’m not sure why.”

I remember a lot of "Hillary's" being thrown around

I remember Trump saying "SHE" with a very negative tone of voice. Something like "SHE did xyz" and he pronounced she strongly. He purposely didn't use her name in this case in an attempt to denigrate her.

What's with his sniffing again?

Its funny cuz growing up my grandmother always said referring to a woman as "she" was insulting. I think she used to say "She is the cat's mother, not Aunt June!"

I don't get it, I just think Trump sounds like your angry, drunk, high uncle at a family party complaining about how great things used to be.

Offensive?

The fact that she is the first nominated woman for president has been her and her campaign's entire platform. Give me a break.

What?!?! He referred to Hillary, a female president candidate, when he said "She"? That is soo sexist and misogynistic. I need to get a box of tissues.

If I were debating her, I would have called her "it" pointing at her each time. It appears that would be workable.

Boy, they just keep reaching further and further. As a woman, I vote the issues not for someone with a life full of issues yet to be addressed.

In the democrats alternate reality, that's about it. Words no longer have meaning. EVERYTHING is offensive.

I guess they think Mr Trump should have referred to Clinton as "it". Odd that they would think that.
Typical Leftist Media Hysterical Meltdown. Do these folks have any clue that they are sounding more unhinged every day?

They are sounding just like we would expect them to sound at this point. Most of us realize that when we get desperate, we can end up looking pretty stupid thus the current situation.

Hillary's campaign has worked the LGBT community, the black race, people of Hispanic/Latino descent, etc. as she grasped at straws hoping that one of those demographics would be fool enough for her accept her for what she is, it has not worked.

I have another suggestion on what Trump should have called her, but because of the TOS, I won't be able to share that with you!
