Maybe after the election, when the dust settles, the GOP can call a convention of sorts and hash out what it wants to be considering the new landscape of the country. With demographic changes and wealth inequality and a likely more liberal court majority the old formula just won't work. It can't survive as it is. Morphing into multiple parties that can form a coalition on some issues and not on others might be one plan. The Libertarians might cooperate on some issues. People are too hot and emotional now to have a rational discussion but it needs to happen.
Its not over at all, most of the polls out there are useless, highly skewed with a segment of one party, and sometime not a list of likely voters.....and taking an average of these poorly done polls compound the problem

The guy had a chance to turn things around by talking issues, specifics and policies. Instead, he's now going commando on the 90s and personal issues about Bill. He doesn't seem to get that nobody cares about Bill now. That was litigated in the 90s. And even after that, Bill Clinton left office with high approval ratings.

Dumb move, and I think that's why Gingrich hasn't been around much. Going after Bill is the reason Gingrich is now a tv commentator.

Trump is simply not giving anyone a reason to vote for him as he continuously flings red meat into his crowds. His small base is devoted, but he's turning off everyone else. At best, he's persuading some people not to vote at all. He's taken mean-spirited and nasty to a whole new level.

That's one way to get the audience confused.

Yeah, yeah. Skewed polls. Blah, blah, blah. This is what happens when you live in the Fox/Brietbart echo chamber.

Just ask Romney.
