I am SO happy for it to be over. Fortunately, Kalifornia is a solidly blue state, so we get little in the way of pestering phone calls and ads other than local measures. Unfortunately that also means that my vote for president really doesn't count.
I think American media has turned the election process into a never ending reality show, its never going to be over just a change in the players every once in a while.
Next big kerfuffle will be when Trump loses in November then challenges the results in a law suit thus dragging the process out for who knows how long.
This Trump character is in no way going to make America great again but he will make America look stupid and be the brunt of jokes around the world.
Bottom line, whether you love or hate the candidates get out and vote for your choice, the process is what makes America great,if your candidate or party doesnt win this time there will be future elections.
One bright spot--the horror of the choices has taken away any focus from the fact that a woman is running. Gender has been a non-issue.
...I have heard some negative things about this. But overall it hasn't been as big of an issue as I thought it would. Furthermore, I think we might actually be maturing as a nation, a very small amount, as I see the number of women in Congress rise.
This is the worse election year that I have ever seen. The candidates are horrible. Damn sick and tired of the fighting. It is ridiculous. Hopefully, in the future, we can get some good candidates. We are at the bottom of the barrel with these.
