That has proven too many times to be nothing but fallacy, because the Wealthy want Power, they gather money for the sake of Power and when people pursue power, they never get enough, it turns into Avarice.
This is why thing have deteriorated, also they deteriorated because the mass of the working poor, and the dire poor fell prey to the games of the wealthy. They relinquished the value of Union's and helped the wealthy dismantle them and since then wages have remained stagnant. They relinquished their voice and business left the country. The working poor and dire poor bought into the Republican Spill, time and time again, and each time the Republican system crashed the economy and took back any gains people had earned, the last crash not only destroyed the equity with the variable rate game, while people's wage did not rise, they took the money out of their homes and all it did was give the Bush Administration and Temporary illusion that the economy was moving; when fact is, people were depleting their equity with no means to replace it and resulted 'Upside down on their home with rising interest rates, and many became to loose homes they had been living in more than 20 yrs in some cases. It duped people to sell their house and buy homes bigger and more expensive than they could afford, and the rate adjusted up and we have a glut of homes that were vacant and sold on Short sales, with the value stripped away, and no means to gain equity, because jobs wage did not rise so no one could afford to buy them. The wealthy stepped up and bought up homes and created for themselves massive "rental income".
The reasons why Trump can't deliver are many, and they start with the delusion of Tax cuts to the wealthy. Next it move on to Trump's plans to cut public assistance, while there is no means to create jobs that pay to fill the void. Trump does not pay his own people wages where they can become Home Owners and afford medical and build a saving account.
American's have not had saving accounts since the 1960's, when we had massive Interstate Construction All Across America. Now, Infrastructure can't provide jobs because Contractors have figured out how to fix roads with skeleton crews and then they bleed the contracts and build poor quality construction.
We will see damage to Medicare, Medicaid, and Health Care Cost will sky rocket because he will embolden the Insurance Companies to cut the level of services they deliver on, and Banks will go crazy with inflation interest rates any time they see any sign of money in the economy.
Trump can't deliver because if one does not get to the Ivy League and the Top Tier Universities and change how they teach and stop teaching "Chase the Money Madness" we are only graduating more people who feel entitled and they want more money and will cut services, create collusive policy and offer the consumer nothing but fiction. That's how we got to where we are today. The University Grads destroyed the concept of Service, and they created and promoted "Disposable Good" that need to be frequently replaced, as assurance they would secure for themselves "high pay". Even our Repair Shops vanished, today no one can get a TV fixed, because its imported so cheaply that no one wants to fix it. So, the Chinese take and fix it and sell it right back to us. University Grads have been the death of American Industrial system. Tech and Science can create thing and do amazing work, but the grads who come out and are wrongly placed in management and leadership decision making roles, do nothing but scheme to bleed the public of anything Tech and Science Creates.
Look at "data plans", there is absolutely no reason that all plans should continue to rise in cost. Places like S. Korea and Japan have given their people the ability to use their tech units without all the collusive gouging that our University Grads come up with.
Ask Trump why could he not make Taj Mahal work, he had Gov. Cristie in his Pocket, and spent a Billion Dollars building it, why could not they create the jobs in the areas and fix the infrastructure and fix the inner city around such a massive investment? Atlantic City should have rivaled Vegas on the East Coast with inner city growth that should have been astronomical. Instead, they fattened their pockets and then the Taj end up being on the selling block and thousands of workers fighting to survive. They denied and attacked the Unions to keep wages low. They people had to and still are fighting to get a health program that actually can provide service, instead they get if anything a stripped down plan, that pretend to be medical care. When you have the Governor in your pocket, and you had banks backing you to the tune of a Billion dollars to build one Casino, then if you could not fix the city around it. How can you claim to be able to fix and entire nation? That is an Honest Question.
Trump had New Yorker's backing his every move, then why is there decrepit areas in and around New York? Outside of the wealthy areas of Florida's cities where money and power goes, people are still living like they were in the 1950s in the outlet lying areas? Why?

Instead the University has taught grads that it should be a Casino Cash Cow for them, playing FICTIONAL RASE THE STOCK VALUE, the Overleverage the company to fill the pockets of Executives, then sell it off in parts some the Executives can Cash out.
Trump can't be a FDR, because he does not believe and have the values that FDR had. The Wealthy now only care about Outsourcing and profiting from the labor of poor countries.
Yes, we need to deal with Immigration, but we also need to figure out how to help or lead these countries to educate their people to protect their own homeland. Trump can't do that, because the ideology of the people is trapped under the Autocratic oppression's of their religion and the many conflicts their religion generates. They don't know how to establish a Legal system Outside of their Religion. Untilthese Countries learn how to Separate Religion from Government, they will remain fighting for another 100 or a 1000 yrs. Trump can't fix that.
The other mess is Trump has aroused these groups like Alt Right, and filled Right Wingers with a new form of Segregationist Motivations, and that is very very very harmful to America as a whole. The collection of the radical Right Groups, such as Alt Right, KKK, and the general uneducated bigots and racist, as well was the racist who have position and resource alone is a very dangerous scenario, of which, he did not know how to curb their elation and aspirations for bigotry, belligerence,segregationist mindset and racist ideology during his campaigning, therefore he won't be able to fix that, nor will even be able to contain and corral that type of madness, even if he was to become President. IF he tried after the fact, they'd attack him !!! He has no idea how crazed these groups are, and in chasing votes he forgot to think about American Integrity and what is the value of Diversity in America's system and nation. He cannot now turn off the switch, that he used to arouse them to think they can recreate the Confederacy and re install an Antebellum Ideological system across the nation. Trump did not realize the nuts cases he pander to among the Republican's he sought, he did not acknowledge that segments of the Republican ranks are Far Far Out There Right Winger Segregationist and Separatist and flat out Racist. They will turn on a dime and attack him with a vile beyond even his own belief if he tried to enlighten them on the value of Diversity and American Unity.
If he wants to do something, why not have used his money to bring Business People Together and Push his Message to the Business people on a Business Level, to Re-invest in American and bring their money back from the Offshore Accounts? IF he had taken that route, and given it the time he gives to arousing the poor and working poor with pipe dreams and bigotry and feeding into the segregationist mindset of some of his followers, he could have been a Great American Success Story. But he is not equipped to be President, He should not have run for Office, instead He needs to focus on and deal with what he does and that is Business. His best choice should be to give his focus to bringing Business People Together to Rebuild America's Industrial Capacity. Not trying to be President, but as an American Business Man, who is a Promoter of American Business and Industry.
Now after the Election is Over, and Hillary is in Office. Let's seeif Trump is smart enough to turn his focus to Business People and be a Business Leader and work to be a leader to get business people to Re-invest in America.

There are big differences as to what is already in place for Hillary. One is ACA, as she said, it makes no sense to strip it away and start over again. American is about "IMPROVING" upon the things we institute. One has to remember, Republican fought Nationally and Locally with every kind of fear tactic to kill this program, they invested nothing to improve it, only spin to critique it. The Original program has many components, but many had to be bargained away to get the bill passed. She will work to make the program become and be better because the program is set up as framework to be built upon for improvements in how it functions.
It's like anything in life, it has to establish and evolve. Look at the history of the Model T, which is no comparison to the vehicles today. ACA will be no comparison to what it can be transformed to be and do with the support. We are a nation who can fix and make anything work. Mostly we are a nation of "PEOPLE", that's what makes American unique, along with its system of governance and regulatory process.
Republican have spent and inordinate amount of time, lobbying Insurance Companies to become and be as contentious as they can be without being bluntly direct with it, but we can be assured it is Republican opposition behind it. I personally thing Republican have promised these companies some outrageous things, which none are of benefit to the citizen. We already know Free Market Crap is not good, because we've seen drug companies high up the prices 100's of %. Through the game of mergers and acquisition, that madness is not a main educational program, which teaches young people who to consume other countries by burrowing against the companies "they don't own's, own assets", and then using fictional projected, based on fictitious stock valuation, which is 100's of time higher than the capability of a company to perform. These thing work because it makes money for Attorney's, Banks and Executives. Nothing it or of it benefits the Citizen population.
Trump knows this game very well, but on the other hand, Hillary fought 30 yrs ago for Health Care and she is not about to stop pushing to improve it now. When people awaken and accept a simple truth.

He comes across as a modern 21st century version of Hitler, Stalin and all those who came before him, claiming themselves the "master of the masses", and each went on to create great calamity, many lives destroyed and decades of madness, which reverbrated in consequence for even more decades.
We want Banking and Finance fixed, then Hillary simply needs a democratic congress, and then back and support Elizabeth Warren to go and get the process rolling to reform the American Banking and Financial Systems.
