I keep watching coverage of the 2016 election via youtube videos. I like the certainty that the reporters and media pundits have at the beginning of the night that Clinton won't lose contrasted several hours later when their world has become tossed about because people in battleground states want jobs rather than Clinton's self-serving 'I'm with her.'

The disconnect between the elites and the rest of us is so palpable . . . and so truly sad.

I watched the whole thing. It was sad and hilarious. Like seeing a kid watch his balloon slowly deflate and not understanding why it was happening.

I watched it on FOX channel 360 and it was like a party.

I knew he was actually going to win this thing and I was yelling at the TV, Why aren't they calling Wisconsin? Iowa? Arizona? Georgia? North Carolina? Florida? Oh my God, we got Ohio! We got Florida! New Hampshire is up in the air! Pennsylvania game over!

Then Trump and family came out and said, Sorry to keep you waiting, complicated business.

Then I turned to CNN, MSNBC, etc. And they were like Too Close to Call, and Podesta told y'all to go to bed and we'd finish this off in the morning, then y'all finally said, WAA Not My Pwesident Waa!

I watch it often. Media was like the Hindenburg, so full of itself, and as the night explodes on them, that is such sweet justice.

They don't have a HD version of it on Fox but have it on MSNBC... would of preferred Fox... less BS and Fake News than CNN or MSNBC..

Yeah, even Brit Hume on Fox said something early in the night - about something negative for Trump that would perhaps foreshadow how the night was going to play out. I don't actively seek out these videos anymore but click on them occasionally when I find a clip on this site.

I still remember watching the returns on TV in the living room. and yelling out the results of each state to my husband (who was surfing on FB in our home office down the hall) as they came in. I started to get excited after Florida, and when Trump took Wisconsin my husband and I actually hugged each other because we were so excited. We knew it was all over for Clinton and Trump had taken the night. I hadn't expected to see all the crying in the Clinton house. That took me by surprise. I was also surprised that night that Clinton didn't come out to give her concession speech in front of supporters.

I was prepared to stay up all night if I had to on election night. Couldn't go to bed without knowing who won. Watching those videos reminds me of what an extraordinary night it was. Truly extraordinary.

Fox broadcasters carried themselves well throughout the night. The Trump win had to be as much of a shock for them as it was for everyone else across the country. Other news broadcasters started spiraling downwards pretty quickly though.

I recorded about 5 hours of Fox News coverage on election day, it was like Christmas morning.
But I had look at CNN now and then, and it was awesome when they started to realize Florida was slipping away.....
Definitely the best day of TV of my life.

I watch a some election night clips every now and then for a good laugh. I especially like re-watching the leftist anchors on CNN and MSNBC go crazy. Chris Matthews saying "well, that's a *****" when there was when a big state was called for Trump was gold

Dearest Trumplings...

Yes, watching video of last year's election is what keeps your hopes alive at this point. Because everything that's happened in the 8 months since then has all been, shall we say, problematic.

Bask in the glory of that yuge victory.

"A lot of America is crying tonight ....."

I wasn't, but thanks for your concern.
