Ford pardoned Nixon. People were angry at the time but it was probably the right thing to do. From a National perspective did we want to drag a former President into a long trial and possible jail time in the middle of the Cold War?
The Cold War is over but I think the situation is similar. Do we really want to put a former First Lady, a US Senator and Secretary of State in a long trial and jail time? Is that a good advertisement for Democracy and the American political system? Rather, I think the best thing to do is to get the Clintons OUT OF POWER so there will be no more "donations" to the Clintons from corporations and foreign governments.

How american is it, to say some people are above the law and not required to follow the american legal system?
The WSJ is reporting - It will take weeks, at a minimum, to determine whether those messages are work-related from the time Ms. Abedin served with Mrs. Clinton at the State Department; how many are duplicates of emails already reviewed by the FBI; and whether they include either classified information or important new evidence in the Clinton email probe.
Weeks! We know Hillary doesn't have the class to step aside while this mess is sorted out and you know, just judging by the comments here on CD, that Democrats don't care what kind of crook they put in office and they'll vote for her no matter what cloud hangs over her.
Since Tricky Dick was forced out of the Presidency, the GOP has been searching for something to pin on the Democrat Party. They think this is it and are they wrong again. Nutty Don is more of an embarrassment then even Watergate.

The whole point of going through a .gov address was so you didnt keep those emails local (on a laptop).
