If the FBI had found anything, and you can believe they were going over these emails with a fine toothed comb, Comey wouldn't even need to be talking about it because FBI agents would be tweeting and leaking it left and right.

What is your evidence that "100 FBI agents saying they will quit if something isn't done"? besides certain right-wing contentions? Did those agents sign a petition or something?
They threatened to quit and put letters of resignation on his desk. It's all over the news.
Hillary supporters may be ecstatic over this, but our country loses when politicians are placed above the law. It's not that the evidence wasn't there in the first place, it's that the Attorney General is just as corrupt as everyone else in D.C. Hopefully this will wrankle the ire of true Americans and get them out to the polls to defeat corrupt Hillary.
650,000 emails can't be processed that quickly in a law enforcement investigation. The FBI owes everyone (both sides) some explanations about what's really going on there.
I imagine they use rather sophisticated algorithms to process that quantity of emails.

Sure. Somebody wrote a program (if they didn't already have one) that compares headers and message lengths, and dumped copies of both sets of emails onto one computer. Then hand-checked the duplicate sets found, and also searched for and found non-dupes with Clinton's server in the headers and checked those.
Same thing you do when you clean up your hard drive of duplicate files, or that iTunes does when you import a copy of a song you already have.
Remember, 650,000 is the total number of emails found on Weiner's laptop. Not the number of Clinton's emails on the laptop.
