Trump has been counted out and underestimated, but big media finally seems to be waking up to the reality of a Trump win.

These maps ignore other possibilities - which include picking up 1 Electoral Vote in Maine, which is at least a 50% chance.

Trump only needs to get to 269, as then it goes to the House.

Exactly.

If you randomly assign some states where Hillary is leading by 5% or more in the polls to Donnie, then sure, you can make a pretend map where he wins.

Doesn't mean it's going to happen.

Trump will win. He's fooled everyone who counted him out and there are millions of people who already have voted for him or can't wait to vote on election day because America is fed up with the corruption that has taken place these past years. I've thought all along (and have said so here) that Trump will easily win next week.

Laughable.

I was actually expecting to see a plausible path but no, just extreme wishful thinking.

She has about 260 firm, he has about 150.

No he duped millions of stupid Republicans.

The rest of us are not so easily fooled.

Next Tuesday, you will come to understand that.

Hope springs eternal.

From your article:

Two things that may seem contradictory at first are true of this election campaign in its final days:

1. Donald Trump is making up ground on Hillary Clinton.

2. Hillary Clinton still has a solid hold on the 270 electoral votes she needs to be elected president in six days’ time.

If Hillary has it locked up why does stat guru and liberal hero Nate Silver say Trump has a 34.1% chance of winning? Why doesn't he say pay no attention to our models - his true odds are <1%?
